Nº 01Laravel staging
A Laravel staging server you do not have to maintain.
A Laravel staging server needs the right PHP version, a database, Redis, a mail catcher and a reachable HTTPS address. On an Envbay instance you create all of that in one step as a project.

What Laravel staging needs
- The same PHP version you will run in production later (several are available on the instance).
- Database and cache: MariaDB, MySQL or PostgreSQL, plus Redis.
- Catching mail instead of sending it to real people: Mailpit.
- An HTTPS address you can send to clients for sign-off.
- Queue workers and cron for the scheduler.

How it looks on Envbay
- 01
Create the project
In your instance you pick the Laravel template or import your Git repository (private repositories through a deploy key).
- 02
Choose services
You choose PHP version, web server, database as well as Redis and Mailpit in the wizard. Everything runs in the project’s own containers.
- 03
Share the address
The project is immediately reachable at
https://project.customer.envbay.devwith a valid certificate. New projects are private by default; you set up sharing and guest links yourself. - 04
Work in your IDE
Through the SSH gateway you connect VS Code or JetBrains to the project.
How long creating takes depends on template and packages. In our test with the Laravel template, MariaDB, Redis and Mailpit the project was online after a little over a minute; composer create-project was the longest step.

Feature branches and background processes
- Branch environments (Team and Agency plans): a branch runs in its own copy of the project with its own address and data.
- You describe workers and cron in the project file
envoryx.yml, which can live in your repository. - A pull request stays reviewable next to the main project without overwriting your staging.

Which plan fits?
| Starter | Team | Agency | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price per month (incl. VAT) | €12 | €29 | €59 |
| Projects | 3 | 10 | 25 |
| Users | 1 | 5 | 15 |
| Storage | 20 GB | 50 GB | 100 GB |
| Runtimes | PHP, Node, Python, static | all available | all available |
| Branch environments | no | yes | yes |
Beta: the first 6 months cost half the price. Annual payment equals 10 monthly prices. incl. 19% VAT.
Starter has 2 GB of memory. Large frontend builds (for example Vite in big projects) can run tight there; Team is the safer plan for them.

When Envbay is not the right fit
- Envbay is not meant for production with zero-downtime deployments, load balancing or an availability promise.
- If you already have a staging server with settled routines, you do not need to switch.
