Envoryx hosting: your own instance, run for you.

Envoryx manages development and staging environments as projects, with a web interface, HTTPS addresses and SSH. Envbay runs Envoryx as a private instance for you, so you do not have to set up and maintain a server.

What is Envoryx?

Envoryx is an open-source tool (envoryx.dev, source on GitHub). It creates projects from templates or from your Git repository, each with web server, runtime, database and extra services in their own containers.

Templates include Laravel, Symfony, WordPress, TYPO3, Shopware, Next.js and Django, among others. Every project gets its own HTTPS address, and through the SSH gateway VS Code or JetBrains work directly inside the project.

Envbay is an independent provider, neither the author of Envoryx nor an official partner. We run it as a service provider for you; development stays with the project itself. The author keeps a list of providers at envoryx.dev/hosting.

What Envbay takes off your plate

  • A separate, isolated instance per customer. There is no shared Envoryx and no shared database with other customers.
  • Setup and updates: we roll out new Envoryx versions for you.
  • Addresses with valid certificates: customer.envbay.dev for the instance and project.customer.envbay.dev for each project.
  • An SSH gateway for your IDE in every plan.
  • Backups of your instance and projects, with copies off site.
  • Server location EU, support by ticket on weekdays in German and English.

Self-host or rent?

Envoryx is open source, so you can run it yourself. If you enjoy running servers anyway, that is a good choice. If you would rather ship projects, a hosted instance saves you that work.

What you should know

  • Envbay is built for development and staging, not for production load.
  • Envbay is in beta and makes no availability promise.
  • Storage is HDD-based with a RAM cache. First package installs (Composer, npm, pip) are slower than on NVMe, repeated ones are faster.

Q.01Is this the regular Envoryx?
Yes. You get a private Envoryx instance in its own container. The host only sets plan limits and a few settings such as the base domain.
Q.02Where are the servers?
The server location is the EU.
Q.03Can I take my projects with me?
Yes. Projects consist of containers and ordinary folders, and your code also lives in your Git repository.
Q.04What does it cost?
Starter €12, Team €29, Agency €59 per month, each including 19% VAT. To try it out there is the Free plan: 7 days at no cost, extendable once by 7 days. Details are on the pricing page.
